Injector & Turbo Question

I'm in the process of turboing my FC N/A and my question is: can i install my 550's into my car one day and put it all back together and drive it like normal (for only a few days max) instead of having my car down for a solid week without driving it while i install my turbo/c & o lines etc...also i have a safc installed already so if its running REALLY rich i lean it out pretty good if necessary.

Also i was wondering much much boost you think a s4 turbo that's had its wastegate ported and also the turbine input ported, safety?

Any advice on these subjects is appreciated thks guys.

Yeah, you can drive it. As long as it's rich you're safe. Take a fresh set of plugs and wrench with you just in case. Make you you don't pull too much fuel with the AFC.

On the turbo it depends on what kind of exhaust you have behind it. Something restrictive should keep you below 12psi and ok for that turbo. By that I mean not too rediculously far out of it's efficiency map and OK as long as you have the fuel to run that boost. Run an open 3" downpipe and you'll nail 14+ and be looking for trouble in the blink of an eye.

Does you car have an airflow meter, if does you could run those 550's as long as you tighten up the springs inside that AFM and play with the idle.
