Hey guys, just had a quick question.
Are there any ups or downs in using 1000cc's as primaries, besides buring more fuel. I don't see alot of single's using this high of injectors.

Large injectors for primaries are possible, but un-nesicary.
I mean with 850/1600 you can support upwards of 600 RWHP properly tuned
The other down fall is their spray pattern is poopy @ low pulse with.
Think of it like this, a hair spray can mist, or a fire hose mist. Now imagine it in milliseconds, the larger will be harder to fine tune.
I have seen a few people running 4x1600 but you don’t need to.

Thanks for the input Bacon, I see your point. Damn, trouble is I bought a rx7store fuel kit froma guy that never used it, was a good price that I could not pass up.
Anyways, I believe from that kit that they sell they offer you the choice of either 850's or 1000's, I guess that dude picked the 1000's. Well bought the kit from him and that is how I ended up with these. I agree that these 1000's are not necessary, I wanted 850's. Oh well too late installed it already.
I hope Steve dosen't have trouble tuning this sucker in Feb.

Steve shouldn’t, I was going to head that route myself but he told me the 850's are fine.
I’ve seen people with larger, you might just have some stumble between the primaries and secondary’s coming online. Which ECU are you running? Hope you got the boost to use us all that fuel
BTW the stumble I’m talking about only occurs @ part throttle under light boost so if you drive it like you should be you never feel it
and Steve probably can tune it out, he tuned mine on the dyno so it was one of those things I noticed on the way home

Thanks for the reassurance. I'm running the PFC like most. Haha not nearly on the boost comment, only trying to push 15 max on pump, that's probably wee wee to most guys in this single section. Goal is to hit 400hp is what I told Steve.
I run 1000cc primaries and have no issues at all with idle and drivability. I also run the electromotive tec3R. I have a brand new set of 1000cc side feed bored by RC engineering direct drop ins for sale with papers.

We have installed many of our Ultimate kits that use 1000cc primarys. The car idles and cruises perfect with no issues. It is a lot of fuel and really depends on the boost you want to run.
