I have a set of KG 14mm fuel rails with bosch white tops 1600cc and delphi 880cc running on my car low resistance setup.Car is running fine but i want to upgrade 2 a newer better up 2 date injector setup high resistance combo.I have done some searching online but i cant come up with a answer.I want 2 buy a injector combo that will just drop in with my KG rails and done.....but every vendor or person that i ask or call asked me if i want the short style or long style injectors,if i need injector hats,40mm,66mm all this question that i dont have or know the answers.
I just want 2 take the old injectors out,put then new ones in and done!
I know i need 14mm top o ring injectors and high res.
I want 2 880cc primaries and
2 1600 or 2000cc for secondaries.
Any tips,ideas,sugestions?Thanks

Measure your current injectors or see if you can figure out which of the sizes it is and just get the same size. Your rail is spaced for a specific sized injector so when you buy injectors, they ask you what size you need so that it will drop right in. Contact KG Parts and ask them what size they manufacturer the rails for, if multiple sizes then they should be able to tell you how to tell which ones you have.
14mm is the size of the base of the injectors which is the most common. 36mm, 48mm and 60mm that they're talking about refers to the height of the injector.
If you get the wrong height it won't fit between the rail and the LIM/housing.
I recommend Bosch EV14s. Same injector that ID uses. It's high impedance and comes in varying sizes for a reasonable price. I got mine from IRPerformance.
