I'm Back
Most don't know me, but those of you that have been around for more than 5 years know a lot about me. I dusted off (literally) the FD today and am back at work finishing up my single turbo installation that I started in 2001.
I have the next three weekends to work on it before my schedule gets busy with my other hobbies again. I plan to have the car ready to drive by then.
I will post up some pics in the ext few days of what it looked like sitting and my progress.
I have browsed a few threads and see BDC, and Steve from Chicago are still around You can look at my website for info about my FD if you would like. I was one of the first 10 members on this forum and have owned my FD since 1999.

Garrett TA51 compressor with 76 P-trim T04 turbine and 1.15 A/R, and I will most likely be running 1.1bar on pump fuel. I am not exactly sure on boost, since it has been a few years since I have been around turbo rotaries. I have not looked through my notes on my car either, and boost pressure will most likely be in there with my boost control info.

What is sad is, I might be here asking advice, instead of giving it. I have helped many people, now I can cash in on my previous kindness

Thanks crispeed. 90% of the parts I need arrived at my doorstep last night. I hope to have my downpipe welded up this weekend. Lucky for me, I get stainless tubing for free at my job
Here is a pic of the car from last weekend. Primary fuel rail should be here by the weekend and then I need to make the DP and do the piping for the IC and the radiator. Oh, and the oil line to the turbo, but that should be easy.

I have seen that most guys are running bigger turbo inlets. I have my turbo and will run it for awhile until I decide to upgrade and then decide what to get. The large resource or track guys seem to have moved on to other vehicles Dyno racers and drag racers seem to the be the norm now with the FDs
350-400rwhp for the track is all I am really looking for.

I spent some time at LS, although it has been over 4 years since I have driven there I think 7stock took over WWW.
I will be back on the track next year IIRC, you had A032Rs on your car when I met you We are a dying reed, most folks have sold their cars and moved on to other vehicles

Hey Jay, long time. How's things? I'm still around as well..
I'm doing a single turbo conversion on one of my FDs too, although it's taking me forever. Maybe we can help each other out. This is my first single conversion so I'm learning as I go, but so far it's been interesting.
