Idea to make a T-25 work on my NA
Well.. I was gonna go with a stock TII turbo for my little turbo project.. But I lost one of my jobs and wont have the money unless I find another quickly.. But.. I had an idea to get that T-25 to work that you all talked me out of using last month. What do you think of a costom manifold, where one exhaust port goes directly into the turbo exhaust inlet, and the other bypasses it completly. Then they both mearge after the turbo outlet, down to a costom down and mid-pipe back to my N1 Cat back? Like I said in my other posts.. I'm not looking to make huge power.. I just want descent power (~200rwhp) with low end torque (at least 200ft/lbs). Since I already have the turbo, that'd cut costs by $300 and I think an exhaust shop could do all that for around $200 if not less.. Then I just need a small intercooler, fuel pump and 550cc/min secondaries and a few other things and I'm set. What do you all think?

hmmmm, i dunno man. one of the major bonuses of turboing a rotary is the awesome exhaust pulses that exist to spool the turbo up correctly. I haven't really ever thought of this before... it may work, but that manifold is gonna be one weird SOB.

Plus the cost to have that weird *** manifold made is gonna offset the money you save by using the T25. Just sell that turbo.

Better yet, just route a hair dryer in the intake tract... that'll put LOTS of nice, high-temp low-pressure air in the system like a T25. You'll need to fit exhaust restrictors too...
(T25 is too small even for a 2-liter, and a 13B is a much larger, higher revving engine!)

That turbo is to small, by itself why dont you add another one and make a twin turbo? That will make arsome HP. The compressor housing is bigger than one of the turbos on my fd, and it is capable of making up to 16psi. I have one available for less than $200.
