I run a Turbonetics T66 (not ball bearing)

I made 410 rwhp 311 tq at 16 psi on what my tuner tells me is conservative on the timing. I run 13 psi on 93 octane and 16 on 100 octane. I'm still driving my FD almost daily, so I can't go all out yet and tune for having 110+ in the tank all the time. A link to my dyno chart is in my sig, (Brian, feel free to add it to you site. I tried to submit it a while back, but it wouldn't work). I definitely will be running 20 psi as soon as the weather "cools down" here in Florida. Tuning in a hot garage on a dyno with 90% humidity and 100 degree temps sucks for making power.

I'm hoping for 500 whp at 20 psi. Would anyone care to comment on that expectation?

more then 500hp...is it dowel pinned? who built it?
any 2 rotor is close to breaking when passing the 500hp mark

well not any, but the big hp numbers coming out of 13b's have a lifetime of 3-5miles before a rebuilt or teardown

I donnu which 13b your talking about. The right 13b's have way more life than that. My t78 running around 450 on pump has 6k now and still produces same pull numbers as freshly broken in.

Although 5k is at the limit of your suggestion, I would reckon there are many, many more single turbo enthusiast getting more than 5kmiles out of a 13b block.
Im counting on it that's for sure. And not one mishap, nor sign of anythin wrong is to prove me otherwise.

I have a t-70, and I like the way it performs, but if I gould do it over I would probably go for the t-66 because the t-70 has some lag. I've only heard good things about the t-66

Sounds unbelievable to me...let's see the dyno sheet! I would love to believe that it is true.

I don't like to call BS because there are lots of things out there that I don't know about... but I think I know the secret to 440 at 12 PSI... a 3 rotor.

Honestly, 440 at 12 is a lot of power unless maybe he's doing something strange like a peripheral port at 10k rpm or something...

true. Anyway i say go with the t-66. Gotham makes a great kit, although not on their website yet, so give them a call. or go to www.gothamracing.com Btw i was going to go with t-70 but didnt just because of the "flat" spot it has as well as poor compressor map.

I put down 311hp at 12lbs of boost running extremely rich...about 10:1. I can hit 12 lbs by a little over 3000, but I just found that I had a pretty significant exhaust leak where my wastegate meets the header.

If you really are right about this being a street ported 13b then it making 440 @ 12psi is hard to swallow if your talking rwhp. You sure he didnt mean engine hp? That would come out to around 375rw which is MUCH more believable from a T66. Was he on race gas when he made this 12psi run? If he dynoed the car to get this power then someone should be able to get a sheet up here.....or is he just "estimating"?

On second thought I do happen to know of a Marco from Canada that is a very good tuner and has a 10 second car. His name is Marco Passante and he ownes a shop but its not the one you listed, as far as I know he ownes Magnus Motorsports.

Is this the same Marco your talking about?

mangus used to be his old shop i believe.. he also owned rotary motorsports but sold it went to AUS to train and stuff came back. He opened up right next door to his old shop. Eventually worked them outta business he made the 440 RWHP on 94 octane. higher boost he uses C16. He has been rebuilding the engine everyweek to figure new stuff out and hes on the dyno a few times a week it seems now. he does an amazing job. Another one of my friends is having his engine built up and ported by him. he just has the stock turbo so ill let you know him numbers as well. I know he has cracked 10.8 10.7 a few times but he has trouble launching. Its also a nice touch that this car is daily driven.
