Start with a compression check. Follow that with ignition system inspection, then fuel system. If they all check out, your PFC is either not working or not setup correctly.
With a race port, your car will idle like crap drive like crap at low engine speeds.

I checked all of them, there are function well. I m thinking about the PFC because i m new user of PFC and the PFC has not been tune yet. In low speed, it is a crap.

Do you know how i can fix it ??? dyno tune ?? or sth else ??

if you have all that done and don't have your PowerFC tuned yet, then your priorities are mixed up. it would be safe to not drive the car until you can get it on a dyno and tune it or get a map from someone with a similar setup. the problem probably is the PowerFC, you probably have all the wrong timing and fuel settings...whether that fixes the problem or not, it's still something that should be priority #1...you could end up with a blown motor very easily if that's the case.

Check to see if your map sensor is connected.

I can't offer much info on this except I have the same problem. Lots of lag and little boost on a new T04B turbo. Turbo seems fine.

Check to see if the turbo spins freely. I was told that if the turbo spins freely then you can eliminate this.

The only thing I can think of is that you have a boost leak. But I still would assume you would here the turbo spin like crazy to provide boost?

Ian

P.S. Also make sure the boost sensor (Map sensor ) is hooked up right. I had it hooked up wrong during some trouble shooting and the car idle really bad and no power. I connected it to the wrong nipple on the UIM.

i m appreciated for all your reply. My built engine is just built and it hasn't pass the break-in period yet; and i would like to do dyno tune after the break-in. In this case, What should i do ??

I test drive the car again, it has no power and hesitation under 3500 (I mean the car is very lag) Is just hard to drive. Also, it has a lot of smell of fuel coming out from the exhaust, will that be the Map Sensor problem or the ECU (un-tuned)

BTW: i removed the cold-start sysytem, and the car is very hard to start up even in hot condition ( it needs to crack so many time, i think about 7-8 crack to start the car)

did you change your fuel injectors?

i'd say get to a tuner and at least tune the low throttle (vacuum) areas. that should make it run worlds better.

if it ran fine before the porting and everything else is the same, you're probably running way too lean.

but i don't know i can drive up that far. I m in SF.
My car just got engine rebuilt, and i m waiting for the break-in period over before i go dyno.

And the car just running like crap in low idle, it maybe the fuel and the ECU (non-tuned)

definately sounds like a tuning problem.

you can have it partially tuned without flogging it.

you can if you know about tuning, but there's a lot to it. if you've never done it before, it would be best to take it to a shop that tunes pfc's.

Sounds like you're too rich down low.

Edit - Nevermind what else I just said, just have a shop do it lol.

if none of the settings were changed, it's probably too lean because of the port job.

Yes, it is too rich, but i cant adjust to ordinary; because the car will turn off when i stop. So that my friend set it too rich. Is it any method i can fix it to ordinary without any running too rich.

I have 550cc primary and 1300cc secondary, and stock fuel rail and FPR.

BTW: I remove the cold start system. And i would like to know anyone has problem when they start up the car even in warm condition ?? cuz my car is hardly start up in hot condition.

A good sign its running rich is that smell of fuel comming out of the exhaust...the injectors are probably absolutely dumping gas right now and thats why the car is running like crap. I had the same situation with the car running insanely rich and the fuel smell....you can probably shoot a really impressive flame right now at least haha. You need to get the car somewhere where they can just give you a better base map so you can get the breakin period done. You also shouldn't be worrying about lag right now because you shouldn't know the turbo is laggy...don't boost w/o having the car tuned for christ's sake. This sounds like you are asking to buy another new motor.
Aboout the cold start, did you wire the thermowax up? as in trick the car into thinking it is actually warm when its not? If you didn't the car will run like crap for that reason too.

The PFC base map will START AND RUN a STANDARD car, basically so you can drive carefully to your tuner. With major mods, the standard PFC map will struggle to do that, you should trailer it to your tuner and get a base map suitable for your car to run it in. At the very least get an ACCURATE A/F meter in there to monitor your part throttle driving and keep a VERY close watch on your knock level in the PFC.
