dont just trust a map setup for someone elses car to be ok for yours, and even if you put one in to start it up... you'd be stupid not to have an A/F meter and monitor knock to check its actually ok to drive. You'd be shocked how much minor mechanical differences can affect a map...

unless you like building engines twice of course...

should i bring my car to dyno tune first, in order to get a basic map for break-in period; and then i go dyno again once the break-in period finish.

yea...have them tune everything below boost, then run it in for a couple hundred miles, then bring it back and tune boost.

Go to Rotary Extreme with Chuck or Ghetto Dan to tune ur car. They can do a conservative tune and then after break in have them tune it the way u want.

LMAO...did you make it to class?

Man your asking for trouble boosting on break in. Also like someone else said, you shoudnt be boosting without being tuned.

A timing light will tell you if the plugs are actually firing at the time that matches the settings.

Looking at the settings will tell you what the timing is set to.

Adjust the PowerFC ignition map (warning: don't do this unless you know what you are doing).

dude take that ******* car to a tuner! You will most likely mess it up trying to fix it! Spend the 300 for a dyno tune and save yourself an engine.

Don't worry about the timing. The base map should be conservative enough to be save and drivable. Your A/Fs are all messed up. You have two choices. Get a wideband and adjust A/F yourself or trailer it to a dyno. Since you are running a big single and will probably mess around with the car to no end just get the wideband. As for making changes to the A/Fs remember, small changes make a big diffrence...

No, i haven't because one of the clients file tax extension, and me and couple of my teammates went down to LA to do audit; and i just back on sunday. Anyway, i appreciated all of your answer and suggests.

now the problem are, i cant do dyno tune because i recently rebuilt the engine; and it is in break-in period. I m even email Chunk in Rotary Extreme, he said he cant do a dyno tune for fresh engine unless it has 500 miles on it. Now, i need to put atleast 500 miles on the engine before i do dyno tune, on top of that, i need to deal with the problem of the A/F; cuz the engine is burning a lot gas in idle, plus it has a lot of gas smell coming out from the exhaust and smoke once i start the enigne.

I was trying to drive on the street, but it is just hard to drive it. I have even i step on the gas hardly and the car doesnt go (Lag)

What do you think i can do about it ?? is it any ways to reduce the Fuel burning ??

btw: It is running stock 550cc pri and 1300cc sec.

For PFC, what happen if i dont cut those 4 wires that suppose to be cut ??

My IgnT Ld and IgnT Td are negative, meanwhile the engine is shaking like hell.
When the car is in idle, the VAC. is about 10; when i step on the gas a little bit, it goes down to about 20 ( i m using Autometer), in fact, i can smell a lot of gas from the exhaust.

Do you have think ??

thx Sindy
