I have a 12a 85 rx7 all stock no mods and i want it turbo!!!!!!!!!
how would i go about doing this for a low budget under600-700 bucks i really want one

the only way I can see you pulling this off is if you can find a cartech turbo kit for 1st gens. They are rare but they show up on ebay once in a while.
other than that I cant see spending less than a few grand. Im swapping a turbo II engine in my fb and the engine alone is costing 1200 shipped. And thats pretty damn cheap.

A buddy of mine is doing this right now. he already had the carbs though. Not that they are trubo specific but they do add to the total price.
He used a s4 turbo and mani He welded a flange on the mani and that was that.
He is using the core from a saab900 turbo IC and needed to get a rrfpr and a new fuel pump.
I highly doubt the whole project is gonna go over $800 but then again we have connections for all the parts he needed.
By the way that thing on e-bay is junk. Its a draw-through and is a no-no for many reasons.
