I would like to know your oppinion,
I have a stock 6port, turbocharged.
Currently Im running 460's on the primary and 550's on the secondary, at 3 psi boost...NO intercooler, and 98 oct gas.(europe)
But I have 1000cc's coming in next week for secondary...
so the 550's will go to primary!
My question is, how much boost can I run with this combo. : 550's primary, 1000's secondary, NO intercooler, 98 octane gas.

with no i\c, i wouldn't run any personally. maybe 1 or 2 psi, but thats just me.

 

install a 100% meth injection system and maybe run up to 7-10psi...again personal opinion only

Is there no way to fit any intercooler in there?

yesterday I welded the diff.. :P
tonight I'll go for a wicked testdrive hehehe
on 3 psi I get 104 mph from the G-tech.
Ill try get more pics today..

 

find a way to intercool it and turn up the boost. but if you can't then get water/alky injection as that should cool off your intake temps and egts.

 

If he was running all methanol, he could run as much boost as his fuel system would allow and no intercooler would be needed.

 

what are you using for fuel magment?

by 98 octane is that ron/mon or just ron?

what year 6port motor is it?

Dont know how much hp, but im pushing 10 psi,
Im getting wheel spin in third gear... 26 inch tall tires...

I'd like to see a pic of the engine! If i remember correctly , werent thw 12A turbos made without intercoolers ? I think you would have to keep the tune on the rich side (10-10.5 a/f ratios ) with very little ignition timing.

I'm leaning towards the methanol inj. as for the cooling..
I'll get it to a dyno first thing ..and then we'll see about the methanol inj.
I have a short clip of it on the hi-way...dont know how to post it..
This weekend I'll be getting more clips..

 

I've added an IC and 3" exhaust piping!!
Ill try 14 psi tonight... we'll see what it does
