i would consider using a different pump they are very problematic, and are prone to failure. if anything i would use two of them for a intank setup.

I would never use a dual pump setup. You are better off killing a single pump and having the car die than killing one pump of a dual pump setup running lean and going kabooom. Others on the forum have had luck with the boost a pumps on the walbros for higher horsepower.

i personally dont use a dual pump setup but have seen many successful setups that have, but they are usually the denso pumps. you are completely correct fritts, thats why i run a very large external fuel pump.

I've seen a car dyno 407 whp with a single walbro and no sign of running out(others have done more i'm sure). I've run dual walbros for over a year and no problems, even run them dry a few times.

However, I have also heard of failures on rare occasions.

439rwhp on a single pump with no problems. Now that I'm going for more power, I have stepped up to 2 Walbros.

and some run a bit more (490rwhp) with the pump. So take what you will from these two hp numbers and get the pump(s) that you need for the hp you are looking for.

From what I noticed a lot of people are using Walboro with good results.
I myself would rather go with an Aeromotive fuel pump they used to be called SX.
Those pumps I have seen in some serious high horse power setups.
I believe they support up to one thousand horsepower. The Aeromotive Fuel regulators are good as well. Theres something about the looks and size of the pump that make me skeptical about there performance. Also the price, I mean come on what kind of quality can you expect from a fuel pump at $100.00 or less. You get what you pay for.

I had an SX pump but it went bad. I would try the Walbro for now and see if its any good.
