How does this sound for a single?

Ok keep in mind guys I dont wanna spend $3k on a turbo... Im getting this for a little over a 1,000 with trade of my twins...

Ok heres what I have, I got a 85 12A chasis, im putting in a engine from a Cosmo , 13b-RE... Now I dont feel like messing with the twins and I wanted a little more HP. WEll heres what I was quoted from a friend of mine, im deleting the prices from it, cuz it may have been a personal deal...

Stage 3 87-88 Clutch Assembly (flywheel not included) $xxx

Stage 4 89-91 turbocharger and manifold. Comes with P trim exhaust turbine, 360 thrust package, T04B package, 60-1 compressor wheel. Turbine housing entrance is ported along with a ported wastegate and port matched turbo manifold. $xxx

Does that sound good? What kind of HP you think with that? Gonna use a Hlatech e6k, 3" custom exhaust all the way back....

THanks

I'd imagine you'll be getting somewhere near 320 (?) rwhp at ~12psi of boost, but that's a pretty wild guess

Have fun with that, it should work nicely!

Sounds like a good turbo, but $1000USD?? Seems pricey...

I would get the manifold and just put a standard 89-91 turbo on it for now and sae up the extra money for the big turbo

Well im getting a Stage 3 (up to 400hp) clutch with it too, so the turbo is way under a $1k US... I was told possibly 400hp (that might have been flywheel HP), but if I got over 300 rwhp , id be giddy with delight. Also thats everything manifold, fully rebuilt and blueprinted turbo, wastegate etc.. I mean damn near bolt on and go type of thing. Thats everything minus a boost controller which the Haltech does right?

Keep in mind my orginal goal was to use the twins.... remember I started with maybe 120hp I'll probally **** on myself once I get it tuned and drive it...

Thanks for the answeres I value everyones opinion...

EDIT: PS While Im at it, can the stock secondaries be redone (?) to jet more... Like by sending them to RC engineering?

Some people I know have expressed concern on 'T04B package' What exactly is this and why is it bad? Does it make the lag servere? Im lost in the lingo here...

Don't worry about it - they have no clue on what they are talking about.

For some reason the 60-1 is known as a T04B family (Turbonetics) and a T04E family.&nbsp The compressor size is still the same, so that's all that matters.
