Holset HX40/H1E housing sizes

Guy's I have been researching my turbo's for my FD build and I am struggling to find the last few bits of info. I would like to know what size exhaust housings are available for the HX40 and H1E And if possible how these translate roughly as A/R figures.
From what I have read on here and info I have been given I should be going for a #22 housing on an H1E. Not sure if the housings are the same sizes as for the HX40? I also have a RB26 build to start soon and was planning on using and HX40 with a #16 housing fomr recommendations but I would like to know what other otpions there are out there.

Thank you
Lee

22cm2 for the H1E is kinda big, you will have alot of lag. you will see full boost at 5500 rpm. it's good for top end but how high will you rev the car. you would want like a 17cm2 for the fd assuming that you are building a street car. if you really want a nice turbo check Waynespeed.com for a nice holset. hx40, 16cm2 and smaller is good. smallest you should go is like 12cm2.

I have a few threads on the go here. There seem to be quite a lot of people running the H1E with the 22 housing on stock ports and getting good boost response? I was looking at the HX40 for my Rb26 and planning on a 16cm housing for that so expected I might need a little larger for the FD? But I was thinking 22 sounds big!
What size do they start at and go to? Are the HX40 and H1E housings the same? If I got a unit with a 22 housings and found it too bg is it cheap and easy to change to a smaller housing? Does the impeller need changing to and the whole unit rebalancing?
I am looking to make 400bhp on stock ports to begin with.. The car will be street use mostly. I may port it at a later date and would't mind scope for 500bhp max.. But that's only a maybe! I want to keep good repsonse but don't want the turbo at the end of it's puff at 400bhp!

Thank you
Lee
