HKS VBand + Tial Vband housing +35r

Hey folks, I was wondering if anybody has seen any of these in action. More specifically where the turbo ends up being placed with such a setup. Or if someone happens to have an HKS manifold and can tell me where the Vband mount is in relation to the two upper studs that would be great. Thanks much!

the flange is a T5 flange - that should help you in your *search* on the forum.

I believe you're confused (or I am) on which manifold I'm looking for information on, I'm looking for specific placement of the Vband flange (for the turbine housing) on the HKS T51R manifold.

yesh ,my mistake... i was trying to say that the flange for the turbo->manifold is called "T5" (like the t4, t6, etc). My mistake.

I had the whole HKS T51R SPL kit (turbo, manifold & wastegate, etc) along with the HKS 4" Ti exhaust.. ..well needless to say the only part I kept was the exhaust.

Hey Dave, just from looking at the pictures it looks like it will sit pretty close to the same as the HKS T4 tubular manifold. You can look at my car if you want to take any measurements, not sure how exact you need. I would definatly grab a jdm lim tho. My 35r with the small .82 turbine housing barely cleared the usdm lim.

Thanks Matty. I like how it doesn't position the turbo towards the front of the car.

Was this the newer T51R with the vband assemblies? If so why did you get rid of the manifolding/turbo? What were you unhappy with?
