HKS T04R Dyno....!!! (pics)

Hi...

I have a T04R full turbine kit and a lot of other HKS things..

I dyno 406 hp and 330 tq with 1,3 bar and i would like to know if you think it is ok...

I was hoping to make 450 +.. Do you think i could reach that numbers....???

I have a mild streetport and the frontmounted HKS intercooler, HKs twinpower and a mf2 fuelsystem and offcouse a HKS muffler with 3" all the way to the manifold..

What do you think...???

As you can see at the dyno it topped by 6500 rpm and i dont know why he stopped with that rpm... Next time i will go for higher rpm for sure... At least 8000 rpm...

Maybe it will show 450 +...

Supra guys run that turbo at 2-2.3 bar on high boost, so I'd say you have a ways to go. I am not sayingdo it without proper supporting mods, but as far as the turbo goes, there is a lot left in it. What AR? What Manifold? Pics? Good Job

I dont think many RX7 is doing 2 bar +... I think i will go max 1.6-1.8 bar...

The compressor is 0.70 A/R and the turbine is 0.96 A/R..

I only have these pics...

What AFR's?

You should definately see more power by going to 8000. I doubt you will see 450 on pump gas but its definately able to do 450 at 1.6-1.8 bar.

Yeah 400+ is nice at 6000K, but why did you stop there? Or did you have sort of problem? I personally think if your set-up to handle it and ported good, you should see DAMN close to 500hp

OFF TOPIC*
What is the highest rating on pump gas in the US?

oh i remember our conversation about gas, seven93.

denmark has 98 octane but it is measured differently so it equates to about 93-94 octane in the US.

nice run. take it to 8k or 8500 next time.

and is your name "Janus"?

Those seem like respectable numbers for that rpm. My TO4R will be done around the 30th and I will need to get that dyno'd when it is tuned. Good luck on your next run.

You should be able to reach higher than that, maybe not 450 though. That depends on the fuel supply you have. I have a T04R on a stock motor and pulled just shy of 400 at 15 p.s.i.. I was told with a ported motor I would be seeing close to 420 at that boost. Good luck with hitting 450.

T04S would've produced similar numbers. You should've been closer to 450. How are you controlling fuel/ignition?

Hi...

The fuel is controlled by a FM2 system... Stock injectors + 2 x 1000 cc in a HKS injection pipe kit that is working after 0,5 bar..
The ignition is stock..

I think i am buying the AEM ecu for the next season so i can control the ignition...

Well, i am not a rotary specialist but what i think if i am not mistaken, stock ignition with a ported motor?? That doesn't sounds right.

I think the big question should be asked what kind of dyno were you on? Dyno jet or a dyno dynamics type? That'll make a big difference... but I'd guess dyno jet... just thought I'd ask since I have no idea what the Denmark standard is

FWIW, my turbo being very similiar to a T04R made peak power at 7k RPM 467 at 1.3bar boost.
