HKS S/S Racing Wastegate Adjustability?
Does anyone know if HKS S/S Racing Wastegates have any cracking pressure adjustability. In orther words, if it's a 1.0 spring, that is the minimun/maximum pressure at which the valve starts to open.
The reason I ask, is because my new one has a 6mm socket head (allen) bolt at the top where traditionally and an adjustment set screw/bolt is, but the 6mm bolt does not seem to engage/effect anything. If it's not adjustable, I'll need to try and find a spring rate lower than the 1.0 that it came with. Unfortunately the HKS website doesn't list a lower spring rate for the Racing SS WG.

you have to buy a new spring. You cant adjust it with a screw. In not positive of the wasteagte your talking about. But all other wastegates ive seen/used you need a different spring to adjust it.
