Question HKS FD manifold on TII?

Does anyone know if this divided FD manifold will fit on a S5 TII?

I've heard that the design of many FD maifolds will not let the turbo clear the S5 TII LIM.

I'm going to run a GT35R T4 with a 1.06 hot side

If not,
Will it clear with exhaust flange used for a spacer?

Looking for any first hand experences.

Thank, Steve

I dunno, those runners look awful short. It doesn't even look like you could cut and reweld the flange on at a different angle if you had to.

I have one on a 13B-RE in an FC chassis, so I am not sure about the LIM clearance. The clearance for a downpipe inbetween the firewall and the wastegate is pretty close though:

whats the difference in size to the fd one and a fc manifold. i have the og fc manifold and my downpipe is already made for that manifold and routed for the wastegate, so is the turbo and wastegate flanges in the same place on the fd one? thanks in advance

thetech, are you using a real HKS 50mm wastegate? those HKS wastegates are enormous... I want to say the Tial F46 is an inch or two shorter

I have run the HKS cast on a S5 motor but not with the gt35r. with a TO4E with a .60 compressor cover it required a spacer between the turbo and the manifold. my guess is do to the size of the gt35r's comp cover (TO4S style) you will need a spacer between the block and manifold as well as the trubo and manifold then your next problem will be the firewall.

Thanks for the responses! Alot of good info.
I'm going reconsider getting this one and look for a divided T4 manifold that I know will fit.

Indeed...I didn't want to cut and weld cast iron so just went with the HKS. It is huge though and definitely will make life difficult for the downpipe, but I will figure it out!

I've tried my FC manifold on my FD with a TD06H-20G

the FC manifold's angle puts the turbo away from the engine to the point the turbo hits the shock tower area of the engine bay
