High oil pressure w/ single set-up.

I am noticing higher oil pressure w/ my single set-up as oppose to the old non-sequential twins. I am running the a-spec t4 35r kit w/ the restricter fitting on the feed side. It was 60-80 psi w/ load on the car. Now it pegs it a 100 psi. I am now leaking oil from the metering pump and one of my oil cooler fittings. Never leaked before and think its from the increased pressure tearing things up. Any suggestions? I am running and always have 20/50 vr1 oil. Thanks G

Did you use any teflon tape? You could have a piece that plugged up the restrictor. If you can take off the return line quick to make sure oil's making it through the turbo at least. Maybe someone else will have something better to look at though

How cold was it in Florida? Do you have an oil temp gauge?

My oil pressure goes to 110psi on start up. And that is with 10w30.

I try to us a low idle to keep it below 100psi till the oil temp gets to 70*C.

What else did you change with the single conversion? New oil pressure sending unit?

Barry

oil feed and return and my oil catch can are the only things that are different. I know my catch can is set up correctly. It has been cold here. When it the oil is @ operating temp. (150 F-200f). It seems to idle @ normal psi (25-30 psi). Just seems to peg the pressure gauge (100 psi) while accelerating more than it used to.
