help!! whered the boost go?
ok here is the deal i got my power fc, and i got it put in, i got my apexi rx6 turbo kit, and everything was goin good. i was boostin 15 psi quite nicely and one day sumthin happend. i was drivin and all the sudden my open exhaust got reallll quiet, and so i eased on the gas and could hear a stream of air sumwhere, so i let off, and heard like two little puffs of air, and so i did a 3rd gear pull and i hit like 3 psi. now i was thinkin oh my bov is goin nutty on me
but its not, or i dont think it is, no boost is commin out when this is happenin i checked so then all the sudden as it started it stopped after idling for awhile so i took it out and did another 3rd gear pull, it hit 7 psi and settled down at 5 psi, and the exhaust sound was normal, so whut happend where is my 15 psi :confused

Sounds like you have a major boost leak somewhere. Check all of the connection between the turbo and the intake manifold. If you have a boost leak that big you should be able to hear the air rushing out of the leak, are you hearing this?

It's obvious one of two things is happening here:
1. You have a boost leak somewhere, most likely an intercooler pipe connection.
2. Your wastegate is stuck open or partially open. Not nearly as likely as #1.
You just posted this question yesterday in another thread and said you could hear some sort of air noise on boost, which leads us back to #1 again. Go check that out and I am sure you will solve your problem.

I don't know what else to tell you, you're not troubleshooting with the tips people are giving you. You need to go out and check ALL your intercooler connections and hose clamps, disconnect your bov vaccum line so it stays closed and then retest. If that doesn't work I would disconnect the boost controller and run the pressure line straight to the wastegate and let it run just on the spring pressure. Just go test some of these things and if it doesn't solve the problem you cross it off the list and go from there. You didn't blow the motor did you?
