HELP...non seq-twins to T78
I am putting a T78 in my FD and I currently have the stock twins non-sequential, what will I need to do to get the piping right for the T78, I know that turbo will sit higher so I am thinking I will need a new piping arrangement. also if anyone has any tips on installing a single, let me know, I have a pretty good Idea of what I am getting myself into but I have never actually performed the install myself (twin to single) so any warnings or advice may help. Here is a pic of the current set-up (not the greatest picture but a general idea)
street port
3mm apex seals
greddy 3 row front mount
fluidyne radiator
550cc primarys
1300cc secondary (will be 1600cc w/t78)
walboro fuel pump
hks twin power
apexi power FC
m2 cat back
everything is pretty noticeable other than the listed above, its ready and waiting for the t78.

Use the search function.
The question on single conversions has been asked quite a few times... you'll be able to find the answers if you do a search.
You're going to need new intercooler piping for the hot side. New exhaust setup, injectors, etc etc... the list can go on forever. I did my conversion myself initially, but i was running seq twins.
But to start, I would just start taking off the twins, and all the emissions stuff. Throw on the T78 manifold and then find a Greddy (if it is Greddy) T78 downpipe or have one made by an exhaust shop.
Like I said, intercooler piping will have to be made, but thats not too much trouble for any reputable shop.

I am doing the single turbo swap myself. It will be a little smaller turbo but none the less a single. I have not done this yet but as you I can pretty much see what i have to do. I have stripped the emmisions and anything else unnessecary under the hood. My biggest issues are going to be the downpipe and the oil feed lines and the dump lines. I don't know if you have thought of this yet but if you have ideas let me know and if you have any questions and if I can answer them I will definatley help.
