Inside the compressor housing outlet is stamped .60, on teh exhaust housing outside is stamped a/r .58.

I know the compressor is a t04, but what is the exhaust(is this a full t04 or a t4/t3 hybrid or some other hybrid)? Im new to aftermarket turbos and am looking for more experienced guys help. Would this turbo be siuted for a rotary application, aiming for about 250hp(87 t2)?

Thanks for hte help guys!

A .58 A/R is too small for a rotary. You want to be up around .9x-1.xx

You can buy a new exhaust side for that pretty cheap i believe.. Look into getting a .96 - 1.15 This can be a nice turbo..

Yea, that turbo definately needs a new hot side put on. For one thing, it's way to small. It would do 250 probably, but it would run out of steam real quick up top. Another thing, it's an on-center undivided housing ... which sucks.

If you only want 250 hp at the wheels, do this. Send it wherever ... any turbo builder. Get a .84 Tangential Divided turbine housing put on, P trim wheel. That'll do 250 no problem. If you want to maybe do more than 250 in the future, get a 1.0 housing put on.

Just make sure and get enough fuel whatever you do!

Looks like a To4B, not for sure if an A/R60 compressor housing is too big or not, but you should be able to put the T04b compressor housing on the stock turbo and get 270hp, I've seen it done before, just not sure if they were A/R 50' or 60'. I do know it's a tight fit with the lower intake manifold...

If not it looks like it is a P-trim from the picture so do what Boosted7 said and get the new exaust housing as he discribed...

It is already spotless, has very low miles/hours on it, looks almost unused. I figure if I get $250 for it Ill be happy, and someone else can do what they want with it.
