Help in Deciding T04R

Hi,

I have decided to buy the Big kahuna T04R from cheap turbo...

Can someone tell me the best specs i should order for a FD...

compressor: TO4R

.70 a/r
66.5mm inducer
flow: 75 lbs/min 960cfm
360* thrust bearing standard
turbine: T4

your choice of: on center housing: .58 a/r or tangential: .70a/r .84 a/r .96 a/r housing

available with 0 or P trim wheel

I will be adding a wet center section to it...

Let me know what i should choose

Also if i run the T04R at 13-15 psi for a little while will it be worth it?

thanks

I would choose the .84 if you can get a Q trim, otherwise the .96 P trim. Carl Byck

.96 Q trim should yield greater exhaust flow, but slightly laggier turbo response...

.96 P trim should respond slightly quicker, but with slightly more restricted exhaust flow.

what hp should i look at if i go for the above configuration on a mild streetport fd.. by restricted do u mean the car will choke up top? or just it cud be better..

I will be buyin the following turbo:

T04R .96 a/r p trim
wet center housing

what would be the spool-up and max hp..

thanks

Maybe I shoudn't have used restricted.. but it doesn't flow as much air per revolution as the Q trim does. However, it should make for more streetable turbo response.

T04R would probably make around 450rwhp at 15psi on a streetport FD... More if boost is raised... 500rwhp should be achievable at or around 20psi boost.
