11-12InHg at idle

I just got my car converted to a big single and got some big ports done. I was looking at my manifold vacume and its basically 10-12InHg at 1000rpm, is this normal?

Thankx

17-18@1k. Do you guys have bridgeports or something? I thought maybe 10in was quite low.

Ok here it goes... i bought a streetported motor from japan and blew it in 1500kms...

Now when i was rebuilding a motor i had to use one of my old side housing... now i have two ported and one stock ported housing

And my idle vaccum is low but the pressure out of the exhaust is extremely high... the car runs great otherwise...

i have never adjusted my idle screw or the dashpot... Can that be causing it?

thanks

So you are using ported end plates with a stock intermediate plate?

8"-10" vaccuum. 750-1000rpm idle. I'm guessing the ports are pretty big.
