I ended up buying a used Apex RX6B kit from Fritz since it was only a few hundred dollars more than the XS T04E I was planning on getting. I was able to go several laps with Fabian (foko) about a year back (I believe the car belongs to Damian now), and I was so impressed with his RX6 setup that I knew I had to get it someday. The fast spooling and bulletproof nature of the turbo is what sold me. I've heard the customer service is not very good, and rebuilding is not an option, but I figure the turbo will last me a while since I'm getting a nice new motor built by Rick at RP in Pleasanton.

Thanks for all the input guys! Sorry for bringing up this topic AGAIN, but hopefully this thread will help somebody else out.

Don't mean to burst your bubble but I believe a RX6 turbo cannot be rebuilt.

No worries...no bubbles burst here. I think my wording was sloppy, but I was saying in the previous thread that despite the fact that these turbos were not rebuildable, I was content with the fact that they were supposed to be very strong turbos and shoul outlast the car.

Thanks! I started a new thread here in which I plan on highlighting the progress of the build, and I hope to get a dyno run up there eventually!
