Has anyone checked inlet charge temp at the inlet port?
As title really, not at the throttle or the UIM, but as close as damnit to the inlet port.
Ideally on cars without wrapped manifolds/turbines.
Ive not on mine as yet, but it is ridiculously hot due to in/ex ports being on the same side, and it must be sky high, prompting me to decide to spend some serious time and money shielding it from radiated exhaust heat.
Has anyone got any actual numbers? Especially pre-throttle to inlet port comparisons.
