im getting my 35/40 kit within 2-3 weeks from jason at rx7store, and it'll probably be another 1-2 weeks in installation, but i promise i'll post my dyno sheet from the tuning session.

When will a t-78 reach full boost on a stock motor? How about the gt35/40? I have a couple of friends who have the gt35/40 ordered and I don't want to be the slowest of the pack
One friend is actually having his engine bridgeported so I assume I have no chance against him. The other has a stock motor like mine. How do you think these two really compare? Anyone have first hand experience?

Are you still looking for more graphs?

Yellow Dragon is no more
Well I know someone who has, but I've been sworn to keep my mouth shut. I think everyone would be happy with the results. It seems to be a better turbo than the Apex'i.

I'll post dyno numbers in a few weeks.
I've been busy with work (and working out any bugs from the install or stuff that will break).
Another delay for the dyno test is the AEM EMS. I plan to buy in a few weeks.

Mine's very gear dependent - or seems to be that way. At least at WOT in a drag racing type scenario. Seems like i can't hit full boost in 1st, i only hit full boost in second around 6-7k RPM, 3rd is closer to 4k and 4th it comes down and little more, and fifth i can usually be at fulll boost around 3k-3300 rpm. Is this not the case with everyone else? Am I not paying close enough attention??? Maybe i'm just retarded, but tahts the way it seems. I haven't really gone out and collected data, but just sharing what it seems like to me...

Full boost (say, 16-17 psi) probably isn't realized in first and second gear, because the tach just raps so quickly. You're changing gears before the turbo has a chance to really get spooled. Third gear is where you'll actually be able to see the boost gauge at say, 16-17 psi.

exactly- gordon, are you somehow managing to get full boost in the few seconds spent in first and second?? I can't even get full boost in first running 12 psi, much less 17 or so
