GT40 or GT42?

Alright I'm building a setup for my 87 fc and i have a 13b-re cosmo engine that im putting in it. I'm bent on which turbo i should choose whether it be the GT40 or the GT42. The GT42 really does look friggin massive from the pics ive seen and i was wondering about how hard of a setup that would be to accomplish and how much power/response i can expect or should i go with the gt40. Whats the difference between the two as far as power and response is concerned and what manifold do i need to use for this set up on a cosmo in an fc. money is half way an issue but i dont wanna skimp or cheap on anything.
thanks

If your referring to GTBB turbos. I have gotten 1bar by 3800rpms with the GT42R. I'm sure I can get better than that as I had no control over the motor build/tune and that was with a 1.15 housing. GT40R's are on a indefinite backorder for right now. NonBB Gt series turbo expect slightly less response in spool a couple hundred rpm and transient response will suffer.

quick, simple question:

what's the difference between the two? is it simpler a larger compressor wheel or is it more?

GT40r with the .95 ar has a 64 mm inducer, the gt42r has a few different inducer sizes , the BB being either 71mm inducer or the larger 76mm I believe. I am selling my GT40r kit and I am willing to part it out, IE; the turbo sell seperately, good luck getting one since they are on backorder from hell, I had to wait 9 months to get my kit...
