GT35R T4 Divided Available
Well after way too long and way too many headaches it is finally here. I have GT35Rs available with "true" T4 divided housings for sale. They are initially offered in .84, 1.02 with another larger size or two to come. I also have undivided ones being worked on now as well. I had these made for one reason only so all you guys who wanted one or were not happy about the "T3" footprint could have what you wanted. I do honestly listen and try to give you guys what you want when I can.

Here are some pics. Hope you like.

Sean, can you, or someone else, post a pic of a 35R and maybe a 40R and 42R? I'd really like to see the relative sizes!
Everyone i speak to says "Bah! The 35R is too small! It's tiny!" but i really have nothing to compare it to. I haven't seen any of these turbo's in the flesh!

GT35R is not too small, that is a relative term dependent on use and power deliveray of the vehicle.
As for the difference between a T3 and a T4. The T4 will flow more allowing for more power up top, sometimes at a cost of response down low. That is where the divided part can make the difference allowing you to go somewhat larger and still keep the response. Obviously only to a point.

Got any ball-park figure on prices for these. What I've been able to find they have been about $1400 for the GT35R. Do they make a non-ball bearing version of this turbo that might be a bit cheaper? Just some thoughts. Thanks.

The actual physical outside dimensions are really irrelevant except in regards to actually fitting it in your engine bay. Take a look at the PDF Garrett catalog to see the differences in compressor and turbine measurements as well as compressor maps. You can get the PDF catalog at http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob.../jsp/index.jsp Look on the right side where it says get catalog.

Picked up my 35R last night. I must say, it's bigger than i expected it to be! Bloody hell! For anyone who is thinking they're small, they're not!
I'm amazed. I have no idea how they fit those 42R's in an engine bay! And the weight! Damn! It's incredibly heavy! The 42R must weigh so much!

And btw Sean, can you PM me a price on one of these T4 rear housings? Seeing as i literally just got mine, i don't want to buy a different turbo, but a slightly bigger turbine housing would be nice. Will they fit straight onto my turbo?

OK here is the kit for the FD made done ready for order it varies slightly (ie. better, pics are of mockup) from the pics here but not much. It addresses most everything you guys asked for. T4 divided. Runners are equal length. They are optimum length, both out and overall, also the are tapered from 2" to 1.7" this allows for guys running big ports or smaller ports Wastegate is away from DP and trans for less fatigue from heat. They come in a .84, 1.02 and 1.12 for final sizes. And yes some of the pics suck. FC Kit on the way as well!!!
