Why not the Aeromotive Tsunami pump? It is supposed to be good for 700 hp and 500 hp boosted.

curious,

holy richness batman!

the dyno guy was having me goose it in second to heat the tires up.

so why would we be getting black smoke if it was going lean? steve's car is jinxed lol. it was probably one injector locking open and another one locking closed with our luck.

FWIW my A1000 draws enough current to heat up 10 gauge wire on a 10' run, I am now using 8 gauge, 13.4vts at the pump.

I believe the haltech comes with 13 AWG wire. Should i replace it all with 8 Gauge or just the + wire to the pump? Thanks

If you have the battery in the rear storage bin area move the fuel pump relay there also and lengthen the wire that triggers the relay. It's always best to have the relay close to the pump.

Gonzz,

just a thought, look up the old threads that Directfreak made when he was building Kramer. if i recall, he's using the same pump you plan to get so maybe you can glean some useful tips/info from his experience. hell, maybe even shoot him a PM and see if he can help. he's a pretty mature and humble guy - at least in the few times we've communicated.

hope that helps.

i think so. but we both have trips this week, so that's if and only if we're both feeling up to it.
