gt35/40 compared to t78

anyone know the power potential of a gt35/40 compared to a t78. Also how about spool up times, is the gt35/40 alot more responsive than the t78??

I am looking for power output at an average boost level of around 15psi on pump gas..

gt 35/40 is better for you. the t78 is for higher boost pressures.

Depends what your after. You can get almost the same performance from the GT35/40 as you can from the T-78. The T-78 has more power potential but it more for a ported race motor. The GT3540 can run well on a stock or ported motor. It a bit smaller and is Ball bearing so it spools faster. If you plan to run just 15 psi then the Garrett GT35/40 is probably a better choice. Make sure to go with the 1.06 A/R on the Garrett
