GroundZero Motorsports GT42R - 668 RWHP

We just dyno'd 668 rwhp @ 32psi with a GT42R 1.15a/r T6. The only thing that stopped us from going for 700+ was the spark was falling off. We are currently working on a new ignition setup and will post results as they follow.

This is with our new Lower Intake Manifold, 850cc Primaries and 4x1600cc Secondaries @ 42psi base. We were running 77% duty cycle at full boost.

We are waiting to see what it will do at 40psi....more to come soon!

We just used the hks amp and 10.5 plugs. I am going to try a different setup like I have on my rx7, two msd hvcs and a nuvolt on the secondary coils. The motor is a large street port,
PFC and the 102 mm turbo. Hey ernie those were good results 643, I like the faster boost you have with the 1.01 and more torque. I think we will go with the 1.01 T6 exhaust also, after a few more sessions on the dyno. SEAN send me a housing!!!!

Yeh! The injector duty cycle max with 2X850 and 4X1600s was 75% WOT. I just set the injector secondary size to 3200cc and the lag to .6 and game over!
Also the plugs front to rear are burning identical.

Congrats Ralph.
It's a beautifull thing when the front and rear rotors are burning the same. It would not have anything to do with that lower intake would it.
Average power at 40 psi on gas with the GT-42 is around 750 to 780. With methanol 840+ is the norm. I know of two 13b's making over 900 with a GT-47 at 44psi.

Ralph,
Are those true Mustang Dyno numbers? If so then it would be over 700HP on a dynojet.

These are stock rotors, with a 3bar apexi map sensor. We tried a couple of times in the last year to get over 30 psi on 112oct fuel and we blew the motor each time. This time we used C16 and it works great. I will get some pictures monday. This car rolls on 20" and Pzeros, Kazz,433gears, exedy twin disk, and is a total street car. This is my buis partners car, and
boost is set at 32psi and left. We put in a 25psi wastegate spring to get the best boost
for the turbo spool. The tranny was growling on the dyno so its no long for this world.
When we go over 32 psi we will use VP import, but it is Sooooooo expensive! We changed to VP import on our supra this year and the motor is going to be used for a second season
and thats a first.

GroundZero, Xcessive, I guess you guys run on equall lenght exhaust primaries too, right? If so, how long are your primaries? Single or twin wastegates? Your LIM is on my list of must haves, even though I'm only aiming for 500 rwhp tops. Did you have any work done on the LIM or UIM, like extrude honing or gasket matching?
