greddy wastegate spring Q
anybody have any idea on what boost im going to see with the .8-1.2 bar spring in my type R wastegate? for some reason they dont give a set rating, just a range. i just dont want spring pressure to be 1.2 bar. thanks!

I've found that boost seems to be lower then the rating on those springs.
My Type R gate has the smallest spring (IIRC, .6-.8 bar) and I see 9psi with the EBC off.
I have a spring like yours (around 1.0bar) that I was going to install, but just haven't got around to it.
Also, my wastegate signal comes right after the compressor on the turbo....

i found out what its for. the screw on the end of the wastegate needs to be all the way out for it to be at the base of the range. tighten it up and spring pressure goes up. makes sense now!
