20G is a bit on the small side for making decent power. You buying a used kit?

about 350rwhp is the best you will do on a 20G. I have seen a dyno sheet from somebody who maxed it out with a Steve Kan tune.

You should try a GT35R or GT40R kit instead.

I've never seen that on an rx-7. but the Greddy 18g kit is a popular twin kit for the 350z, you can then upgrade to the 20g. So I would think using it as a single would not get you very much power. Its a good turbo though, I think they are ball bearing garret turbos, maybe thats what the g stands for.

a to07-20g or a td06-25g would be a better option.

Greddy still sells a TD06-20G kit for the FC. It uses a 16 cm^2 hotside I believe and is externally wastegated. It is a lot larger than some of the 20G's used on 4 cylinder applications, which have a 7 cm^2 hotside and are internally wastegated.

G is a reference to the wheel style. Greddy uses Mitsubishi turbochargers.

heres a comparison of the stock hitachi turbo next to the td06. Its a good quick spooling turbo but there are better turbos for less money.

Thanks guys for the references and suggestions.
For now I'm going to use that kit on my used JDM engine.
For now would be better option instead of using the stock' ones.
When I'll do the rebuilt on engine then I will go with a bigger Greddy Turbo and another options as well.

Thanks

not everyone goes single turbo for crazy power

converting to single turbo is also a reliability mod

less heat soak under the hood, more room for the motor to breath, and much less complication..
