No you must get a custom fuel rail made for them.I got crispeed to make me a custom rail for them, but you can get www.k2dr.com to make you one. I have 4 :-D

On top of having to have a fuel rail made you also have to take into account that the injectors are low impedance, and the 3rd Gen is a high impedance system. If you put the injectors in they will work for about a month, and then fry your computer(happened to a friend). This can be circumvented with a little creative wiring, but I forget exactly what it entails, so I'm not even going to try to explain what you have to do.

Sorry guys, I (<-newbie) may sound stupid, please bear with me. I have an efi pms on my car. What would be a better idea for me? to get the GN injectors? or get the nippodenso's? I want to get either the 1200s or 1600s...
What would I need to install the GN injectors? wiring and custom fuel rail? Where can I get a custom fuel rail (the above link doesn't work)? Is it worth the time and effort to do the GN's and will the pms be able to handle it?
How about the nippodenso's?
Lot's of questions, thx guys in advance

This guy has peaked my interest... How are the rest of you guys
with 550/1600 and a e6k or standalone doing this? Do you just wire in a resistor, please post if you know. I have heard of guys who just wire in their injectors with no ill effects.
thanks for the replies!

I've been following this thread for a while now!..I want to give you guys HIGH FIVES for bringing this message up. For about 3 months now, i have been looking for a good cheap place for 1600 injectors for my 87TII. Since KURGAN have tried the 1680cc with his HALTECH i think i will buy the same injectors. I myself will also be using HALTECH E6k for my 87TII.

WOW! http://www.precisionte.com/ sells them for 90bucks a piece!..K2RD sells them for 145.00 a piece.. The only difference i see is the the BOSCH 1600cc from K2RD are high impedence and the ones at PRECISIONTE are low impedence. But since i will be using the HALTECH i dont think it will matter or will it???..

That is a great price on injectors. K2RD has a great deal on the fuel rail that is cheaper than I have seen from all the other rotary shops. It is the same exact thing also.
The reason the E6K can control the high and low impedence injectors is because each injector is on its own driver. Impedence does not matter in that case.

the PFC is supposed to handle up to 1500cc injectors, but the 1600's will run fine...and you shouldn't need a new fpr...but I'm not sure....pm Dragon and he'll let you know
Looks Like I'm going to be buying some BIG injectors soon...after I get a PFC

Haltech can control anything. The PFC can control up to 1500cc. I have the PFC controlling the 1600cc now. You need a custom fuel rail (for fitment) and the 10ohm resistors. That will enable you to run the 1600's as 1500's with no problem. The resistors come with the kit specifically for the PFC user's. Damn you Haltech users!
