The only thing I do know is that I bought it and someone else is putting it in.
Ya - just think of it as a MS Word document.

You can have Word open and edit your document but until you save it somewhere on the hard drive it only resides in Word (just like the maps).

The EMS will use whatever you have loaded.

If it ever has a barf/bad tune/etc you can always load the map you have saved as a back up.

The status on the car is that I go to MN on the 5th to pick it up. That means I will finally get to drive it. I cant wait. When I go pick it up I will make sure to get a good video of it. I will have to learn how to drive all over again. The next step is to get a full cage. I have a lot of friends that told me that they wont even ride in the car tell I have one.

It has been a long time since I got on. It sure does suck not having internet. Im on a computer at a hospital.

I told you guys that I would give you an update so here it is. ITS ALIVE!!!!! Well they have all the copy functions blocked. Go to youtube and type in (rx7.avi). Its a short vid and there are no claps and some other things have to done. This is the first time in 3 1/2 yrs its ran.

Well it looks like I get to bring the car home next week. Theres a few things I have to fix. The oil neck is messed up and I still have gauges to install.

As for the wife, I have to drive back to Iowa City this monday to have a meeting with the doc. I sure hope they tell me whats going on with her.

Just came across this thread...
I would definetly invest in an AI system of some sorts, whether it be water or meth injection. I see you're already aware of that. We run the CoolingMist AI kit, with straight meth, and have been making 600+ for some time now without problems. We are also running the same injector setup, and are maxed for fuel. Current power is 619 at 24 psi. We are running a very conservative tune as we wanted to play it safe. If you're looking to go beyond this you might want to add another set of injectors. Good luck to you!

jdmfantasy, with the injectors size I plan on going bigger and with the meth or water injection system. For rite now I just want to get the car running and broke in so I can get a good tune on it.

mono4lamar, as for Gotham being closed it doesnt affect me. I had all my parts from them before they closed. I have talked to Steve since they have closed. He plans on opening another shop. I will be having Steve tune my car in the spring.

Mike, any experienced fabrication shop can make you one. Where are you located?

Steve may be able to make you one still. He told me when he was here in Iowa that he was going to start up a new shop at some point. He is probably still is in touch with his fabricator. Just send him a pm or e-mail him.

I'm late to this thread but seriously screw the car for now. Be there for your wife. When you have everything sorted out sounds like you'll have quite the monster there.

My wife is doing better. She has been in and out of the hospital for sometime now. She has had horrible abdominal pain and all of the doctors we went to just sent us away. That is why I was at the hospital with her since she was at a specalist. We found out that she has crohns disease. So she is on meds now and doing better.

That sucks. it reminds me of that TV show "Mystery Diagnosis" I think. Where doctors keep sending people home when they are sick as ****. And they all have some rare something-or-other.

So is Steve still in the Fort Worth area? And did they post a notice of closing in a thread somewhere? i took a break from the forums and I want to get the info on the shutdown. i assume it was related to the robbery and subsequent insurance claims.
