Arrow got a turbo sizing question

T series TS04 compressor (2.3" inducer, 3.304" exducer), .53 A/R compressor housing, .94 A/R undivided turbine housing, P trim turbine. appropiet undivided manifold, wastegate, IC, fuel, large street port series 5, etc. etc.

Now this is a BIG turbo........BIG compressor and a undivided .94 = lag to me.....My question is what kind of response should be expected from this turbo?

When does it develope boost??
3700 rpm 10 psi, full boost by 4200rpm?

I assume this is primarly for a drag set up rather then a track car, but how laggy will it be? Is it going to be a dog till it develops boost then all of a sudden have a SURGE of HUGE power?

Will it respond better if the .94 turbine housing is replaced with a .84?

What will its most efficient boost pressures be?

I'm asking for a friend who has this turbo option at a GREAT deal, its a street car, hes power hungry. I'd recommend a .94 or .84 DIVIDED turbine housing with O or P trim turbine wheel and a T04e 60-1 or T04b 60-1 compressor wheel for stop light to stop light, auto cross, track / street car.

Give me some input

Thanks, ~Mike........

you sound like you already know what you are doing. I had the identical turbo on my 87T2 unported. Your 3700 rpm 10 psi, full boost by 4200rpm guestimation sounds correct. I on the other hand was using a slightly larger 60mm compressor wheel. My exhaust was a .96 ptrim divided on a non divided manifold. You can always get a smaller exhaust housing if you like. email me if you need turbine housings new. greg@importformance.com
