Got my CYM back from PFSupercars.....

Hey guys. Its been awhile, but got my car back.
New motor consists of 2mm cryro'ed apex seals, lightened rotors, guru motorsports 2 piece e-shaft, 1/2" engine stud kit, and a large PFS street port.
Aspec GT42R dual ball bearing
Tranny is a PPG straight cut gear/dog box.
At 19psi it made 520rwhp; not too shabby for the street...
After I put up some times, I'll let you guys know what I put down at 38psi!!!
I've been driving it on the street all day. **** is plain nuts! Tranny is so loud, I need a advil, lol.....Gonna put a stock tranny in till summer, then swap back for racing.
Props to Ray Wilson for doing a great job and putting up with my PIA!

Incredible! How high you setting the rev limit? How many miles did you put on before boosting 19 psi, and are you planning on putting more miles just for break-in before upping the boost?

I've already ran 38psi on it. I broke it in on the dyno. Thats how I break my motors in. Heat cycle the motor 3 times, change the oil, let her rip.

Actually Nopi just came out with their rules and they're pretty screwed up. They put the renagade (V8) class with the street class which run low 8's and thats pointless for me. So Im going to run all NHRA.

Why? Is it mostley V8's and supra's?

It is really hard to compete with the 1000+hp cars.

Can't wait to see your 38psi dyno run

Probably a good thing he didn't mention a 700hp FD...then the thread would get locked, but I'd like to guess based on math

728rwhp

Congrats Ernie!! And IIRC at 19psi that turbo isn't really into it's efficiency range yet. I'm curious to see what the 38psi run will show. Best of luck to you. One question though. Are you running any form of AI? (water injection, meth injection, etc...)

I heard from a very reliable source that it put down 783 whp at 38 psi.

Congrats Ernie.

Thanks. 19psi is what I run around on the street. I've had it up to 31psi on my old setup and made 643rwhp, but this motor has a bit more in it, lol....

No offense, but nobody in Japan is going as fast as we are in the States. We've been drag racing far longer than you guys have. The same goes for the rotary. Nobody is making anything more than over here.
