Getting ready to get my turbo having ?'ns on fuel delivery

Im putting a 13b-re Cosmo into a 12A chassis 85 GSL. Im gonna be running:

Stage 4 89-91 turbocharger and manifold. Comes with P trim exhaust turbine, 360 thrust package, T04B package, 60-1 compressor wheel. Turbine housing entrance is ported along with a ported wastegate and port matched turbo manifold all from BNR Supercars
1600 cc Bosch Secondaires with custom fuel rail
OEM 550cc primaries
Haltech E6k ecu

Now with that being known, take it easy on me, Im a virgin with all this stuff.

Can someone give me a crash course in what Im gonna need as far as fuel pumps and fuel lines?

maybe someone point me to where I can source such parts and possibly at a reasonable price..

thanks guys

I dunno what the stock lines are on the 1st gen, but all the FC and FD's run 5/16" OD metal lines.&nbsp This is good enough to easily support 400hp to the wheels.&nbsp If your 1st gen runs the same size lines, you can get away with using those for now.&nbsp The other option would be to go with SS AN stuff, which means BIG MONEY - we're talking $500 just to run from the back to the front of the car with all the proper AN fittings and adapters.

A Walbro 255lp fuel pump can easily support 400hp.&nbsp These are a little over $100 each.&nbsp Going above that, you can go with the Bosch 300lph fuel pump to support up to 500!

Thanks Ted, So if the lines arent big enough, I could just source some hard line, and bend them to fit?

Thanks for advice on the pump... Any idea where I can get them? Jegs / Summit????

The lines shouldnt be hard to source around, here anything in particualr I need? Just steel 5/16 OD?

I haven't come across steel fuel line anywhere of that size!
I've seen tons of aluminum stuff, all the way up to 5/8", but that's unsafe under the car.&nbsp At that price ($30 for 25'), it might be worth it and just run some cheap rubber hose around it just to keep it safe...

Ok I asked in the 1st gen forum... this is what I got

I'm pretty sure it's 5/16th's for the main line and 1/4 for the return. I remember reading somewhere that RICERACING is running the stock lines on his 500hp beast so I don't know if you need to upgrade. Just make sure you have a big enough pump.
I did a test today with a clean Mason jar, I allowed the fuel pump to fill the container (present low pressure pump for carb LOL) and no rust no dirt, and it seems fine, so I guess its stock lines.

see any problem with using the 1/4 for the main and 5/16 for the return, or shall I do it the other way around?

BTW: I think im sold on the Bosch 300 lph pump

Yeah, I wouldn't use a Walboro on an FB, since the Walboro is supposed to go in the tank.

The std lines are fine, the reason is that we are dealing with high pressure flow.

I have used this up to 590bhp with NO PROBLEM, Bosch motorsport fuel pump and 70 psi static fuel pressure 1:1 rising rate fuel regulator.

No need for larger fuel line than stock unless trying to get 300+bhp fuel flow @ 5 to 7 psi fuel pressure with a carb (holley pump etc, then you need 1/2 inch lines.

Wow, 70psi static?! Seems like a lot of damn static fuel pressure. Does it hold 85psi while at 15psi of boost? If so thats one hellofa fuel pump!

Yeah, those Bosch fuel pumps are very high pressure fuel pumps.&nbsp Hell, it's still flowing up at 100psi!

RICE RACING you're a crazy **** to be pumping out that kinda power on the stock fuel line!&nbsp I tell everything to go -6AN at least if they are pushing over 400!
