Garrett T04s (t4/60-1) .84 AR turbine

Is This turbo capable of pushing 350rwhp if not more.
Is this turbo better than a Garrett gt35/40

T04S (60-1) is capable of near ~450rwhp on a 13B...

Better than the GT35/40 (GT35R)? There really is no turbo that is better than another, but when comparing to the GT35R, there isn't much comparison... The GT35R is a newer, more advanced turbo. It will spool quicker, and respond quicker. I believe the GT35R flows slightly less at 15psi... although I'm not too sure about that.

Well, most people would go with the T04S because it is older and cheaper. It'd be hard to find another turbo as cheap that would flow enough for 400rwhp.

But at the same time, if I could afford a GT35R, I wouldn't get that, but instead get the GT40R...

would the gt40 fit the fc? and do you think it would have alot of lag on it to spool up?

I considered both options and decided on what is basically a To4s (meaning same center and exhaust side) with a GT35R compressor.

Speak to forum member "Zero R" regarding the GT40R... I believe spool up should be only very slightly slower than the GT35R.
