Garrett GT35R T4 inlet?
Garrett GT35R T4 inlet?
Does anybody know if Garrett makes a GT35R with a T4 inlet flange? I went to Garrett's website and I can't find a GT35R with a T4, but then you go to RX7store.net and they have a Garrett GT35R T4 turbo listed on their website. Can someone help me out?
If there isn't a T4 GT35R, is there an adapter to go from a T4 turbo manifold to a T3 turbo? If so? Where could I pick one up?
Thanks.

Nobody answered by question. That's great you both sell them. Do you guys buy Garrett GT35R T3 turbos then change them into GT35R T4 turbos? Or do you by them from Garrett with T4 inlets?
I change the housings, you can get the T4 "footprint" from dreamer up above, but to get a true T4 housing with a proper T4 A/r (the volute) you will need to talk to me. Unless you want a way too small .5x A/r from PT. That's the whole of it.

Buy a T4 turbine housing would be the most ideal. Buy a adapter but that may effect turbo placement and it may not fit in the engine bay anymore it realy depend on manifold clearence.

Here is the truth about Garrett turbos. If you want the GT35R T4, 1.06 then go thru Zero R for it. He bought the rights to that turbo specifically so I wouldnt sell it. Dumb move in my opinion since I can get the same HP out of a $800 T04R. If you do buy from Zero then bring the vasoline and prepare for a good old fashion raping.
If you want any other turbo in the Garrett line then you can come to me or any other Garrett distirbuter for better pricing.
I have sold a ton of the GT35R T4, .82 which is the best spooling turbo you can get but will limit your HP, depending on your goals.
If your really interested in a gt35r heres a website. You dont have to go through eighther of them. The owner is a good friend of mine and all his parts are very reputable. He has the gt35r with full t4 1.04ar and v-band for around 1500. Check it out. www.atpturbo.com
Also if your not interested in making crazy power but want a streetable with great power band I would recomend gt30 with the t4 1.04ar. IM not sure they have it on there website but you can email them and Im sure they can put it together for you. Happy boosting

Hey Jason I can't remember which one I got. Is there anyway to find out. I had my compressor housing polished and had all of the numbers removed so I can't tell/remember. Is that something that you can look up in your records?

I know. I want to know my turbine housing size.

C'mon now, it's actually if you want a true T4 .84 divided, a 1.0 divided, a 1.06 divided or a 1.15 divided. Some I can also get undivided depending. I charge $1495 for the T4 That is with a ACTUAL T4 turbine housing. Hardly pricey for a turbo made specifically for your application. Specially since a standard T3 goes for roughly $1395 and should retail for $1795. As I've said before, I don't need to base my sales solely on price, that's the difference. As for the TO4R Great turbo I move a ton of them but it is nowhere near the response of a 35R. That is about as good as saying "Why buy the GT42R when you can just buy the GT42", ummm.. cuz there is a difference.

As I was one of the first customers with the T4 that A-Spec offered I talked to Sean at great length as to what they had to go through to get the different options made and available for the rotary community. I don't know exactly how long and how much it cost them to get it done but that should say something about them and their dedication to this community.
