Fuel System Help

Does anyone see any issues with this setup other than it being drawn in paint? It will be a 2 qt surge tank with -10 feed lines and surge tank overflow and a -6 return from the FPR to the surge tank.

I dont think you need to modify the fuel tank to feed from the bottom if you plan to run a surge tank, you can get rid of the surge tank and run the 2 pumps to feed from the bottom of the tank or if you really want the surge tank you can run one intank pump to the surge tank and 2 pumps from the surge tank to the rails..

Another question is why do you need such a fuel system are you tracking the car?

The car will see a lot of track time, it's a drift car with a 13b-re and GT40R so fuel slosh is a concern. I can make the sump for $20 so I'm not going to bother with an in tank pump.

The system will work well. I used something similar with my old road race car but with a single high pressure pump. With the surge tank it would suck every last drop of fuel out of the tank. I'd get approximately one mile warning from the time it would first hiccup til she stopped running and was flat out of fuel. You won't need the 044 pump as a transfer pump between the primary tank and the surge tank. Since this line won't be pressurized any pump will likely flow enough to keep up. Remember flow decreases greatly as pressure rises. I actually used a Holley Blue low pressure carb pump as my transfer pump. Inexpensive and flows more than enough to keep up with the high pressure pump(s).

I think I'm gonna use your Holly pump idea, I knew the Bosch pump was overkill but they are reliable and flow well.
