Fuel Pressure Regulator choices

I am down to choosing the Fuel Pressure Regulator.

I have seen many a Aeromotive leaking pressure, 2 on 2 actually so I want to stay away from that. The best feedbacks I have gotten is on the SARD Racing model but it seems very hard to find and in cases where it is available rather pricey.

So my choices are:

Synapse Universal -6ins -8out or Fuel Lab -6in/out#51502-1

Any opinions and/or arguments would be appreciated

I've had 3 Aeromotives so far. All three "leak" off fuel pressure after the pumps turn off. One was very slowly after 2 hours there would be 0 psi. The current one I have now bleeds off instantly. Although this happens, I've yet to lose my motor over it.

I'm running straight 93 pump fuel, no meth, and im up to 20psi right now on my 42r . I'm very confident in the their performance ability. I would stay away from any new company like "Fuel Lab."

mine does that--losing pressure instantly. it has no problems with leaning out under load, it just makes the car take a bit longer to start as fuel pressure builds when the key is in the "start" position and the pump runs. it's slightly annoying but I'm not worried about it.

Mine does that as well, always has. I have a friend with a Mallory regulator in his 1st gen and it also drops to about 20 PSI very quickly then bleeds off over the next few minutes.

Wanna add something on top of that. Looks very similar to the others yet the price is in the category for what I would think is quality range.

Also, FWIW to everyone that added their comments about the Aeromotive the two that where bleeding pressure were replaced (two different cars) and then held it rock steady.

About the Fuel lab why not? Only reason I even ever heard of the brand is that I received a booklet about their product line from Titan Motorsports. Maybe it is just me who is susceptible to the marketing of companies why actually do something....

I was told by a good friend of mine in Cali to stay away from Fuel Lab. He's big into drag racing...

My aeromotive bleeds off on shutdown also. Never bothered me. Holds solid pressure under all other conditions. Running 20 psi here as well and slightly higher base fuel pressure.
