Question Front mount intercooler-FC3s

I have been looking at FMIC kits for my TII to4 project, I originally made a fmic from 2 TII cores, however it doesn't fit very well with the a/c in the car, however it fits in my n/a that has no a/c and of course no turbo just fine..
So with the greddy kits there are 4 choices, what I can figure is that the piping is mainly different to fit the turbo location, and 2 are 24row, the other are 32 row.

So the questions are:
Is there any difference in piping size between the kits
which kits includes the intake elbow/adapter to get rid of the restrictive stock one?
Do the allow for a/c?
Are they the best kit out there, or is there something better for the money?

I looked at spearco cores, once you add the end tanks, time for welding, and then piping costs, it works out more than a greddy kit, in a few instances, alot more..

The new Greddy kit gets rid of the stock TB cap. The original Greddy kit doesn't, but it's still a good core. With modified piping for an FD upper intake and TB, as well as a Greddy elbow, I see temperatures around 20 degrees above ambient.

Hmm. I have seen alot of kits marked down in price lately, I wonder if that is the old stock without the TB adapter..
I guess I would have to inquire to where I was buying it from to see if was the new or old kit..
The HKS kit is quite a bit more expensive than the greddy kits, any reason why?
Anyone know the pipe sizes for the various greddy kits?
FMIC's in a tII doesn't seem to be that prevalent..Max

The HKS kit is supposed to come with a TB cap. The 86-88 HKS kit is alot more than the 89-91 HKS kit, but I don't know why.

The piping for my Greddy FMIC is close to 2 1/2". I modified the piping to run on each side of the radiator.

Joe, I can get a friend with a digital camera to snap a few. I'll get them by the end of the week and e-mail them to you.
