FRAME RAIL AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa

I have to clearance my frame rail for my turbo.........any suggestions?


need to clear it by about half inch to play it safe

You must be installing an SR KKK turbo ... I used many four letter words as I pounded the crap out of my frame rail. If the motor is still in the car as mine was, a small diameter heavy wall pipe about 3 ft long and a heavy steel hammer works ok.

Couldn't get enough clearance to satisfy myself that it would not hit (soft *** Mazda motor mounts) so I designed and fabricated an engine torque brace to keep the turbo from hitting the rail. My torque brace incorporates a body color urethane bushing to absorb any vibrations.

Anybody want to buy an SR Stage II turbo? Mine is for sale.
