Forced to go single ...advice on a HKS GT set up
Well my twins are smoking and look terminal, I can get a HKS GT spec turbo and think the 3540 fits my needs but the kits are a bit to expensive . Has anyone here just picked up the turbo and manifold and made the rest of the kit themself ? I know I will need a custom fuel rail and a fuel presure regulator a downpipe , but other then the hard pipes I need to make to fit a FMIC what else will I need ? And am I missing something does HKS make a kit for the GT3540 ?
HKS does use 35/40's but I don't think they market them in the states, everytime I've seen the two names together it was always "experimental"
A-spec sells more 35/40's than anyone stateside and they also have a completely new manifold design from the other one everyone seems to be copying, it's a much better design than the old one.

plus fuel pump, larger injectors, ignition amp, plugs, wires, intercooler, clutch, boost controller, bov....etc. i think going single turbo is def worth it but you need to make sure you can get everything you need. otherwise your car will be sitting for awhile, because you are waiting for parts to show up...lol i hated waiting for parts!
