FMIC on T2 TB question?

You guys running Front mounts on your T2's. What are you doing for throttle body adapters for the IC piping?

Some people told me you could use a NA elbow turned upside down but this doesn't come anywhere near clearing the oil filler neck.

Thanks,
Mike

There are a few options here. Some people just use the stock elbow and plumb into it. It is the single worst piece of crap design though so why would anyone want to other than sheer laziness. The n/a elbow is the much better choice. The oil fill neck has to be modified. The T-II neck is a 2 piece unit that unbolts near the bottom. This flange needs to be rotated so the neck clears the elbow. Its nothing that a hacksaw and a welder can't take care of in a few minutes. People who weld are easy to find and something that small will be really cheap. Take it to a muffler shop. The other option is to completely fabricate up your own tb elbow but this can get very complex and time consuming. Greddy makes a nice one but I have only seen it included in their intercooler kits.
