Finally dynoed the Half-Bridge!!

I just got the phone call from Xavier and Jason at RX-7 Store that they had some numbers for me. The ignition was starting to break up really bad aroundd eight grand, but it dynoed 402rwhp@13psi. Not too bad, it's about what I expected and certainly plenty of room for improvement. I'll post dyno charts as soon as I get them. The car is being freighted back to me and should be here this upcoming week. Jason was saying that the boost really comes on strong and faster than he expected. Let be know what you guys think. I'll keep updating as I get more info.

Mike

A magician never reveals his secrets. Let's just wait until I upgrade the ignition, map sensor, 4 inch exhaust, and new intercooler piping and throw it back on the dyno at 18psi. Big plans for this motor.

Just a lowly T04R with a 1.0 hotside. I'm thinking about stepping it up to something bigger though soon.

What compressor wheel is in it? TO4R doesnt dictate what wheel is in it, especially if you have some custom turbo

Either way...good numbers man

Yeah, I'm definately looking into something 1.06 or larger. 1.15 would be ideal. I believe the wheel is 67.2mm for the front on the T04R. I was pretty pumped with the numbers also, just tells me there is much more there. My AFR's were around the low 11's I believe.

Good numbers. I'm glad others are having success with the HBP-Turbo.

that's actually kinda low for that amount of boost, w/ that size of a turbo and that aggresive a port. what size is your ic and ic piping, how are the ex. ports ported, what type of ex. mani. do you have?

Well, since I did the custom v-mount, I threw some mild steel piping together with 2.5 inch dia. I had nothing else around and I was in a time constraint. The new piping is 3.5 inch and the intercooler inlet and outlet have been fixed to allow a better path for air to flow. The manifold is the FEED stainless.
Pressurized- as we speak I am prepping the car for the trip up to my friends shop in New York. She'll be getting a fresh coat of charcoal black metallic. Now I have to get wheels/tire...brakes...suspension....jesus

Souds like you have a 67-1 then. It'll really wake up around 16psi - 22psi.

sorry dubulup, I should have included the word 'style' in there. Feed Style. I'm hoping the turbo has more life in it, 13psi is pretty low.
