Few questions about XS Engineering T04S

Im looking into getting a T04S kit, and had a few quick questions. 1st, I need the car to remain emissions compliant, so I would like to keep the airpump. I ran a search, and only found 1 thread, saying that it definately cant fit with the T04s kit. I just wanted to veriy that I guess I can run a GM electric airpump.

My second question, what exactly are the specs on the XS T04S? Is it a 60-1? Anyone know the A/Rs? Ive done about an hour of searching, and have found a few threads about people making just north of 400RWHP @14-16psi, which is exactly what I was looking for, but want to know a bit more about it.

Also, from people who are now running this, do you like it? Any regrets ? Thanks alot, Im looking to go single but am careful not to make the wrong decision on the turbo.

As far as emissions are concerned, if you take the stock twins out and replace them with a single you wont pass the visuals in Ca. I dont know what the laws are like in PA.

The TO4s does use a 60-1 compressor. You can read some pretty good info on it here since wargasm, the writer of the article is running a similar setup.

I have been in the same predicament as you when choosing my turbo. I decided to go with the T04R which is bigger. There are alot of different options out there. It pretty much comes down to what you will be doing with the car like daily street driving, course racing, drag racing, ect.

I believe Wargasm used the electric pump and has a 60-1.

Thanks, Im just looking to pass the sniffer test. Visual isnt a concern for me. Car will mainly be a street car, occasional trip to the drag strip, and occasional trips to a local road course.

I have this kit and will be putting it in sometime this month. Mine is a 60-1 and the previous owner said it made 15psi at 3500rpm so it seem like a great turbo.

I believe the t04E kit lets you keep the stock airpump.

I just so happen to have one for sale
