fd3s aftermarket uim

i have been searching and searching on here and google for an aftermarket uim for my 99 fd. i have seen heaps of custom ones that you guys have made and saw references to an re and an rew uim but cannot find anything. is there such a beast? i wasnt sure if i should post this in the single turbo of 3rd gen section......

there is the Xcessive LIM, but nobody makes an aftermarket UIM that I know of. You will have to fab your own or pay a shop to do so.

What are your goals for the car? If you're trying to make serious power it will help to have a UIM with a larger plenum and a larger, single barrel throttlebody (90mm Q45 TB is common). But at typical horsepower levels (300-500whp) most people don't consider the factory UIM and throttlebody to be limiting--remember that this car was designed for forced induction, it's not a Civic with a turbo slapped on.

Only one i know of is the e&j/pro-jay setup. replaces everything.

Having both the ProJay and RXparts here at the same time in hand. I would recommend the RXparts version if possible.

/\ the good part about the projay is that its smaller than rxparts & its more narrow so the turbo will sit more to the side of the car, id go with rxparts if you cant get the projay

aiming for 550 600ish.. have already got a lim and planning on a raceworks throttle body. i have seen the word plenum come up in lots of my searching.. will try find out what it is lol thanks

where do these projay and rxparts come from? will uim be compatiable with another lim and throttle body or do you need a complete kit?
