I used a custom aluminum plate with heat resistant “sticker” (don’t know the exact English word for it) as a head shield in-between engine and turbo-manifold.
Covered all manifold end to end with heat blanket which I think is the easiest and cost effective solution and also added a turbo blanket plus covered all ecu lines as well.

I made a custom shield for the lower intake manifold and the water pump, then attached heat tape to the back side of them to provide an insulater between the shield and protected pieces.

I am also makeing a turbo blanket out of two layers of heat blanket and stainless steal wire. Does not look as good as a store bought first time around but if enough time is spent then you can make them look pretty good, and they work great!

That looks like ****...It's just a flat square...bend it up and pick your mounting points. I hope you've given some though to mounting by this point in your fabrication. It might work. It will definitely be better than nothing.

Oh I see,
Being made from carbon fiber, alluminum, and having exhaust wrap I am sure it will work just fine. Only one way to find out for sure .

Sometimes what works the best is not the best looking.
